All Saints’ Day, Rays of Hope Service
A Service of Prayer, Remembrance, and Hope.
The Hope that is ours in Christ Jesus.
Sunday, November 1 at 2pm | Sanctuary
On Sunday, November 1 we will commemorate All Saints’ Day at church. This special day on the church calendar gives us an opportunity to remember those who have died in the faith from our church family in the past year. As part of our services we will read the names of those who have died, see a picture of them on our screens, and thank God together for their lives here with us and their eternal life with Christ.
In addition to our All Saints’ remembrances in the morning- on the afternoon of Sunday, November 1 we will again hold a Rays of Hope service at 2pm.
This service is designed for all those who remember loved ones who have died in the faith- whether recently or many years ago. During the service we’ll hear God’s promises about eternal life and resurrection, we’ll sing hymns of great comfort and hope, and each person in attendance will be given an opportunity to light a candle and place it on the altar in remembrance of their loved one(s) as well. The service is simple, but deeply meaningful to those who attend. We hope you will be able to join us.
If you have questions about the service feel free to reach out to Pastor Andrew.
