“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 The Gospel of Mark is fast-paced and action-oriented focusing on Jesus’ mission to serve others and save us from our sins. He ate with sinners rather than royalty. He rebuked the self-righteous religious leaders. His crown was made of thorns instead of gold. His actions confused people who were expecting an earthly king to save them. Many could not understand or accept Jesus as the Messiah who was focused on our eternal destination. Join us to gain new insights into Jesus’ humble service, authoritative teaching, awesome miracles, sacrificial death and glorious resurrection.
