What comes to mind when you think of David? A shepherd? Musician? Warrior? King? Adulterer? Murder? A man after God’s own heart? David’s life illustrates the blessings that come from following God’s will as well as the consequences of unfaithfulness. From David’s humble start as a shepherd to his rise to King of Israel, God worked through David’s life and his descendants to fulfill His promise of our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this study, we will see God’s power, grace, and faithfulness displayed throughout David’s life–and be assured once again that God is with us just as He was with David.
