Daniel: Encouragement for Faith
At CCL: Tuesdays at 9 am in the Canyon Room
Online via Zoom: Mondays at 6 pm, and Tuesdays at 7 am and 6 pm
Taken into captivity as a teenager, Daniel could not have imagined the plans God had for him: a high official in the royal palace, interpreter of dreams, a prophet and teacher. He served for 70 years in Babylon facing tremendous pressures from a hostile culture, many temptations and even death threats, but he never compromised his faith in God.
We face many similar challenges in today’s world. Join us to learn from Daniel’s example of how to live with integrity in a self-absorbed society. The first half of this study focuses on Daniel’s life. The second half explores Daniel’s prophecies that begin with Babylon and continue to the end of the age when Jesus Christ returns. Through it all, we see God is in control, and we can trust that He is as faithful to us today as He was in Daniel’s day.
